We're here to make this a bike tour to remember. We'll start off gently and bring you on an amazing journey through the wild forests and heather covered uplands of the Wicklow Mountains.
As you get comfortable you'll start to feel the breeze on your face as the trail flows across the hill side. We'll take plenty rest stops and snap lots of photos of the beautiful countryside overlooking the Varty Lakes and Irish Sea.

If you've already got some mountain bike or indeed cycling experience then this is the tour for you. We'll show you the trails we ride ourselves and make sure you get the most from your trip to Wicklow.
Ballinastoe is a mountain bike mecca and has dozens of amazing trails to choose from but nailing the best trails and optimal route is where we come in. We'll size you up on the bike, set the suspension just the way you like it and then hit the trials.

Leisure Mountain Bike Tour - Ticknock
There really is nowhere quite like Ticknock. Where else could you feel so free and removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet be just 20 minutes from the capital city! With breath-taking views over Dublin Bay and beyond, we're here to make this a bike tour to remember.
We'll start off on steady uphill climb where you can get your bearings and begin to let your mind wonder. As you get comfortable you'll start to feel the breeze on your face as the trail flows across the hill side and before you know it you'll be fully emersed in the experience.
There will be plenty of photo stops and breaks to re charge the batteries. And speaking of batteries, this tour is a whole lot more fun on electric bikes, these can be added in the cart.
This tour is suitable for older families or groups of friends looking for an active way to explore the Dublin Mountains.
Expert Mountain Bike Tour - Ticknock
Ticknock is an amazing place to ride with it's technical trails and stunning views over Dublin City and bay, but did you know there are lots of new trails under construction right now and we've got the latest information on those!
As with all our tours, we'll start with a welcome coffee and get to know you and your mtb experience before hitting the trails. We'd definitely recommend a full sus bike for Ticknock and of course, we will setup your suspension just the way you like it too.
This tour is perfect for experienced cyclists and avid mountain bikers who want to maximise their trail time.

Age and Ability
The minimum age we recommend is 11 years old and the minimum height for bike rental is 5'2". Our tours can be tailored to suit novice or expert riders. This is a private tour and we can vary the trails and pace to suit your needs, making it as challenging or as easy as you like. Please note these are mountain bike tours and you should have a good standard of cycling technique as a minimum.

Cost
Hardtail bike rental is included in the cost. Full suspension bikes can be added with a 50% discount. Electric bike rental is charged at the full price and is valid for the full day, so you can ride after the tour.
