This full time position is based in Ticknock in County Dublin and involves working in a blended indoor and outdoor environment.


Job Responsibilities

The Bike Operations Manager will be required to deliver and coordinate for a broad range of services including bike rental, lessons, tours and bike maintenance. 

  • Prepare and plan for all customer bookings
  • Guide and instruct groups and individuals on lessons and tours
  • Manage and maintain a bike rental fleet
  • Service and repair of bikes
  • Track and manage inventory
  • Serve customers and assist in the running of the Trails Cafe
  • Reduce waste and comply with environmental policy
  • Report progress and updates to senior management 


Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a dynamic, flexible, and continually changing environment and must be willing to work as a team-player as required to get the job done to the highest standards.

  • A passion for biking is essential 
  • Excellent knowledge of the bike Industry
  • Mountain bike leadership awards (TCL /MBL)*
  • Bike mechanics experience and qualifications (Cytech)*
  • Excellent management and leadership skills 
  • Customer service orientated
  • Environmentally conscious
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational and administrative skills

* Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate may be required to work in Ballinastoe and other locations from time to time. A regular working week is 37.5 hrs, Monday to Friday, 08.45 to 16.45.

This part time position is based in Ballinastoe in County Wicklow and involves working within the Trails Café and Biking.ie on Saturday and Sunday.


Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a broad range of services.

  • Open and close the premises
  • Prepare and plan for all customer bookings
  • Meet and greet customers
  • Hold safety briefings and introductions
  • Carry out safety inspections on the rental fleet
  • Record and report faults
  • Track and manage inventory
  • Reduce waste and comply with environmental policy
  • Serve customers within Trails Cafe
  • Report progress and updates to senior management


Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a dynamic, flexible, and continually changing environment and must be willing to work as a team-player as required to get the job done to the highest standards.

  • A passion for biking is essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Barista training and HACCP certification*
  • Bike mechanic experience*
  • Environmentally conscious
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

This part time position is based in Ballinastoe in County Wicklow and involves working at various events around the country.


Job Responsibilities

The Events Coordinator will be required to deliver and coordinate for a broad range of cervices. 

  • Course design and marking
  • Design and management of race village, registration systems and timing services
  • Recruitment and management of course marshals
  • Preparation of documentation detailing event schedule, course, results, rules and venue logistics.
  • Plan and present at awards ceremonies
  • Liaise with landowners, suppliers and medical services
  • Promote and manage environmental policy
  • Track and manage inventory
  • Work with sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Respond to competitor queries
  • Report progress and updates to senior management 


Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a dynamic, flexible, and continually changing environment and must be willing to work as a team-player as required to get the job done to the highest standards.

  • A passion for biking is essential 
  • Excellent knowledge of the Coillte mountain bike trail centres
  • Excellent management and leadership skills

  • Ability to think critically and adopt work practices to suit dynamic schedules.

The primary location of employment is Ballinastoe in County Wicklow though regular travel will be required as part of the role. The role is based on 3 days a week with variable hours depending of the work schedule.
